How to Fix Macros Clicking in the Wrong Place (Windows Display Scaling)

If a macro clicks off-target, set Windows display scaling to 100%. This guide also covers HDR, Night Light and other colour settings that change what macros see.

Key takeaways

Set Windows display scaling to 100% on the monitor Roblox is on.

Turn off HDR and Automatic color management.

Turn off Night Light, any Windows color filter and apps like f.lux.

AHK Vault checks all of these before you launch a macro.

1. Set Display Scaling to 100%

  1. Right-click your desktop and choose Display settings.
  2. Under Scale & layout, set Scale to 100%.
  3. Open Roblox again if it was already running.

The Before you launch window has an Open display settings button that takes you straight there.

2. Turn Off Colour Changes

Macros match colours on screen, so anything that tints the screen can make them miss:

  • HDR and Automatic color management: Settings, System, Display, HDR. AHK Vault can turn this off for you from the Before you launch window.
  • Night Light: turn it off in display settings.
  • Windows color filters: turn them off in the accessibility settings.
  • f.lux: quit it from the system tray.
  • Leave graphics card colour settings, like digital vibrance, at default.

3. Several Monitors

If your main monitor is at 100% but another is scaled higher, move Roblox to the 100% monitor or set the other one to 100% too.
